This lash era was started in 2017 by Lash Artist Sarah Picard, starting in her home and very quick scaling in to our towns largest lash company with our own lash line.

So let's get started! What sets us apart? At AK we pride ourselves on providing quality lashes and customer care. We always want you to love what you order and let us know what we could do better and how we can make you a happy customer every time! 

The girls that make up AK only use handmade lash extensions in the salon. So.... Our lash line is primarily focused on this technique. This is so important to our company, so our lash line was engineered to help the lash artist with having lash trays that are feather-light materials that truly fan effortlessly. We have tested all different types of materials and fibers to truly come up with a combinations that makes our lash trays work with the artist to create effortless fans and essentially do some of the work for you!

We also do not have any "middle-men". Our lash trays and adhesives are made and shipped directly after production to our lash salon! Our products do not go to a warehouse or any storage facility. They are stored in a controlled environment at our lash salon where we perform our lash services also and let locals come shop our store. Why does this matter? We are not a lash company that keeps huge inventories of these products, we believe ordering smaller and more often provides the best quality for you, the lash artist. When you purchase supplies from other lash companies, you never know if your adhesive has been sitting on a shelf for 2 months or 2 years.

At AK we also take request and will order your exact thickness, curl, length combination you are searching for and will hold it in stock for you as long as it is reasonable and we are able!

So what is the benefit of handmade fans? Handmade fans all day everyday will last longer than any type of lash and any other technique of lash extensions because we are able to wrap the fan around the natural lash because the bases are loose. It is becoming more and more common for artist to use simpler and easier methods especially with lash licenses becoming easier to acquire. These other common methods like "Pre-Made Fans" are lashes that are pre-glued at the factory, so basically that means they are being glued twice, so imagine the second time you try to superglue something together after already glueing the same object, it never holds the same. 

AK is  the first lash salon in or around our area to start our own lash line! What does that mean and why does it set us apart?
